Technical Facts…

SuperPlow’s moldboard is a 1/4” steel rolled plate that’s 100% thicker than most other plows and therefore needs no “ribs” for reinforcement. That is why we say our snow plow is commercial grade. This smooth surface also aids our engineered reverse plowing and snow shedding action. We use top quality “Monarch” hydraulic motors with one solenoid valve. All steel components are ¼” steel for years of rugged dependability. SuperPlow has over 1250lbs. of downward scraping pressure in forward direction and even more in the reverse direction based on our design. We have two 500lb. trip springs which provide both downward force and a trip mechanism with our toggle in the “float” position. Our patented pivoting action is intuitive, our plow pivots to just the right plowing angle based on which side of the plow receives the most force.This seems to be a “hot button” issue at first with our contractor customers, but if you think about it basically our rear-mounted snowplow will plow the same direction your front plow is plowing, and you won’t have two toggles to juggle at the same time. For those customers who need plows “locked” in one direction we provide a simple mechanical method. Overall we have kept our design simple and cost effective by not using excessive hydraulics adding maintenance and cost so you can keep plowing snow. For contractors who plow commercial parking lots our optional patented blade extensions create 10 or 12ft. blades.
